A Marine Blue and Lavender Big Sky Barn Wedding | Montgomery, TX

As soon as I walked in the bridal suite, there was music playing and everyone was laughing and having such a great time. Mimosa glasses were clinking and Jennifer was just having the time of her life with her best girls! Even though her nerves were coming in waves, you would never know. This girl was so calm the entire day!

I always say that we hear the best stories during the toasts and Jennifer and Steven’s wedding was no exception! Jennifer’s mom, Jill, told everyone a story about how they met. They had learned through their grandparents that both of their grandparents grew up in Bellaire. Then they learned they both lived in on the same street. It turns out, Jennifer and Steven’s grandparents lived next door to each other but ironically met each other online years later. After they met each other in person, Jennifer later told her maid of honor that she had either just met her new best friend, or the person she was going to marry. Jennifer knew from the very beginning that Steven was special. He was different than anyone else she had ever met and she wanted to keep him in her life- forever.

The entire day was full of sentimental moments and special things. Jennifer wore her moms sapphire ring as her “something borrowed” and had a heart sewn into her dress from her dads police uniform as her “something blue”. When it came time for the parent dances, Jennifer shared the sweetest dance with her brother. But then, a hand tapped on his shoulder and one by one, all the important men from Jennifer’s life came and took turns dancing with her. Each time someone new came over, Jennifer beamed with joy, hugged them and began dancing with them.  And then, Steven stepped up and finished the dance with her as the man who would be by her side the rest of her life. It was one of the sweetest first dances I’d ever seen!

Jennifer and Steven, we just love you two! Thank you for giving us the amazing opportunity of documenting your wedding day. We loved every minute of it!
