A Classic Balmorhea Wedding

As she sat in the chair by the corner, she opened his letter and began to read. Before she could finish the first sentence, the tears began to fall. She diverted her eyes to her bridesmaids for a moment as she wiped her tears. She continued reading. Not only had Austin written the sweetest letter for Lauren on their wedding day,but he had included a handkerchief and an old poem that had been typed by a typewriter and saved for many years. It was the perfect “something old” that Lauren needed! After she read Austin’s letter and fully wiped away her tears, she and her sister pinned the handkerchief around the stems of her bouquet. She carried it there, close to her heart, the rest of the day.

We just love Lauren and Austin and their families! We have so many connections with them, it’s crazy! Austin’s sister-in-law, Whitney, was one of my bridesmaids, and Austin’s parents, Roger and Mona, were in my parents wedding!! It was so wonderful getting to see and catch up with everyone. Michael and I felt like part of the family all day! I just loved it! And not only are their families amazing, but their bridal party was amazing. Lauren’s bridesmaids can officially call themselves professional bridesmaids. They were on top of everything all day long! From making sure Lauren looked absolutely perfect to making silly noises to get the kids to smile for the camera during family portraits- they were amazing! Those girls didn’t miss a beat all day. Lauren’s dress and veil was always picture perfect.

Lauren and Austin are perfect for each other. The love they have for each other is so sweet, genuine and perfect. I just loved watching the two of them interact with each other! Austin knows exactly how to make her smile, and I loved capturing it all on camera! Lauren and Austin, we are so excited for you to start this new chapter of your lives! Marriage is such an amazing blessing, and we know your life together will be full of love, joy, and fun!! Congratulations you two! Enjoy these favorites from your wedding day!
