A Lavender Springs at Wallisville Wedding | Wallisville, Tx

Introducing the new Mr. & Mrs. Guerrero!! Haley and Will had the most beautiful lavender wedding at The Springs in Wallisville. It’s not every day you get to photograph a wedding on a Tuesday, but it just so happened to be the perfect day! Haley told me the day before at their rehearsal, it was hot and there was no breeze. And the day after, a cool front stormed though! But their wedding day was perfect. Not a cloud in the sky and the cool breeze made taking portraits outside wonderful!

I just love this venue. The inside is a photographers dream! There are huge windows, white walls and ceilings everywhere…it just makes for the best indoor natural light! I could have photographed in here all day!!

Haley had placed lavender stems all throughout her wedding decor- from the centerpieces to her bouquet. The entire time I was shooting her details, I kept thinking to myself how good it smelled!! She even had a station setup for guests to make their own bags of lavender to take home.

We absolutely love Haley and Will. They are two of the kindest, most caring people on earth. Working with them has been such a joy! I cannot tell you much of a blessing it is to work with people who trust you 100% and let you take them wherever you want to get beautiful portraits! Even if that means risking getting your dress dirty before the ceremony. It always pays off!!

It’s always fun to see so many familiar faces at weddings! I have known Haley’s family for several years now. During college, I used to worship where Haley’s grandfather, Dee, preaches. He even lead a prayer at our own wedding 8 years ago. He couldn’t believe it when I told him we’ve been married over eight years now. Hah!
