A Hunter Green Deep in the Heart Farms Wedding | Brenham, TX

Oh my…where do I even start with this one? Meagan and Richard’s wedding day was absolutely gorgeous. From her hunter green color palette to the incredible natural light we had all day…nothing was short of perfection. Leading up to their wedding day, the forecast was not looking good. It seemed like every time I checked the weather, the percentage of rain just kept increasing. But Meagan and Richard didn’t seem bothered by it. They were so optimistic and so excited to get married, they didn’t care! The rain cleared out just in time for their first look and the rest of the day was perfect!!

Meagan and Richard are two of the nicest, most kindhearted people you’ll ever meet. Thought the day, several people described Meagan as having a heart of gold…and I couldn’t have said it better myself! When I walked into the bridal suite that morning, she told me she had a gift for me – on her wedding day!! And during the reception, she came over to me several times and told me to go take a break. It was so incredibly thoughtful!! 

Meagan tied in so many personal touches throughout her day. Her godfather passed away a few years ago, but she wanted to have a piece of him there with her on her wedding day. Her godmother sent her a green tie and Meagan had it wrapped around the stem of her bouquet as her “something old.” I had never seen anything like that before! It was such a special and unique touch! 

When Richard proposed to Meagan, he flew all the way to Cologne, Germany to ask her to marry him. They were standing on the love lock bridge when he got down on one knee, with a ring around their own lock that said, “marry me”. Meagan brought it with her for her detail shots and they even had another one just for their wedding! Their love story made a perfect circle when they locked it during their ceremony.

Meagan and Richard, you both have been such a joy to work with. We have loved getting to know your sweet friends and families and loved getting to celebrate with you all! I hope you’re enjoying the most relaxing and well deserved honeymoon on the beach! Enjoy reliving your amazing wedding day!
